Operation Guide

  1. Step 1 ：Preparations for the treatment area
    Shave all visible hairs. To ensure a better treatment effect and prevent residual hair from covering the tip window of the instrument, please make sure that there is no residual hair on the skin surface. Clean up the treatment area. Please remember to apply hair removal or skin rejuvenation gel when using the device!

    Step 2: Spot test
    Before a completed treatment for different skin areas, it’s suggested that to have a spot test on your skin firstly, and try the different energy levels.

    1. Get ready and touch skin well to unlock the instrument, set the energy in level 1.
    2. Contact the tip window with your skin tightly, and test for one shot.
    3. If level 1’s heat feeling is acceptable to your skin, please move to the other site then set the energy up to level 2, test for one shot.
    4. If level 2 also is acceptable to your skin, please move to the other site then set the energy higher one level again, up to the highest level that you can bear.
    5. Waiting for 24 hours, and then check the test area. If the skin is normal, start your first treatment according to the parameter table. If the skin color changes significantly (such as tanning), please re-test the suitable energy. If you notice blisters, burning, changes of skin color, or any other side effects, further more, if you were unsure of the test result, it’s not suggested that you continue to use the instrument.

       During operation, do not cover the air inlet and outlet to avoid affecting heat dissipation.

     

    • Weargoggles during the operation, do not directly look at the flashing light or shine to the eyes;
    • Skin appearing red during operation is normal, and it is recommended to apply cold compress to the reddened areas after operation;

Continuous: vertically sticks the treatment window to your skin, long pressing the light emitting button and hold to slide back and forth in a circular motion, the treatment window always keeps vertical to the skin. ( Suitable for large areas such as arms and legs)

If you have a tattoo on your ribs and are targeting the body hair on your underarms, you likely won’t have a problem. You can expect an issue if you have a full sleeve and want to get rid of the hair on your arms, or if you have a tattoo on your thigh and want laser hair removal on your legs. Unfortunately, Planar LED hair removal cannot be done over the tattoo and must work around it.

    3. You are using it at an intensity level that is too high for your skin. We always recommend starting with level 1 intensity to see how your skin reacts, after 2 sessions you can gradually increase the level each couple of sessions if you feel discomfort go back to a lower intensity.
      d. You have not shaved first. We always recommend shaving first because the Planar LED mate may burn long hairs and it won’t be effective to target the hair root if the hair is too long.

    e. Your sliding speed is too slow, let energy accumulate too much on one area or always focus shooting on one skin area.
    f. You are using the device on the same spot multiple times per session. We recommend only one pass over each spot then moving to a new spot, otherwise you could be harming your skin.
    g. You did not smear enough thickness of gel on skin.
